We are collecting books boys would like for our Breakfast With Santa basket. Thanks to those of you who have donated books so far!! We are also still collecting nonperishable food donations for Feed My People, through our Kids Who Care campaign.
Dr. Morgan would like all the students to wear red, white and blue on Monday for our Veteran's Day assembly.
My aunt is turning 90 years old this weekend, so I won't be at Kennerly's Boutique on Saturday, but Happy Shopping!
By the way, I am accepting donations of black felt to be used for the chair legs. It keeps them from being noisy! The felt is only 25cents per square at the craft stores.
Thanks!

Kids Voting
The students went to the technology classroom to cast their votes today. They were able to vote on the laptops for president, senator and governor. Afterward they received "I voted" stickers, just like the grown ups. We will find out the results of the election next Wednesday. Do you think it will match the nationwide vote?
One More Halloween Post

Catching Up
Notice our use of technology? Ha!
Here is a video of the Seven Little Monsters poem we memorized this week!
I am looking forward to seeing all of you at conferences next week. There will be a book fair in the library during conferences. The students were able to look around the book fair today and are excited about all the book choices. Christmas is just around the corner!
The Halloween parade to Tesson Heights will be so much fun next Wednesday. I hope everyone saw the Costume Guidelines that were sent home by Dr. Morgan yesterday. Please have your child BRING their costume in a bag marked with their name. We will have time to change into our costumes before the party. I would like to ask (as a special favor to me) that no one comes to school wearing hair color. Since we do not dress up until the afternoon, it is a huge distraction the rest of the day. Thank you so much for your help! Happy Fall!!

Powder Valley
We had a wonderful time at Powder Valley today. The deer were very cooperative. My small group saw four deer and several squirrels. The students identified many different kinds of tree leaves and signs of fall. Thanks to all the chaperones who came along.(six in all) The students were well behaved and wonderful ambassadors for the Lindbergh School District.

| It was a little chilly, but we had fun. |
